BRING THE LIGHT OF THE GOSPEL TO NIGERIA
IRELAND OUTREACH INTERNATIONAL
EMMAUS BIBLE CENTRES MISSION AFRICA
TO BE PART OF DEMONSTRATING THE LOVE OF GOD
WHILE PREACHING THE WORD OF GOD
AND MAKING DISCIPLES WITH US IN NIGERIA.
Ireland Outreach International takes the call, “go into all the world and preach the Gospel” and to “make disciples of all nations” seriously. We believe that our calling and duty to bring the message of the Gospel to a lost and dying world, to bring the good news of JESUS CHRIST to the utter-most parts of the earth – to places like West Africa.
WILL YOU COME AND BE PART
OF WHAT GOD IS DOING IN NIGERIA?
Our mission statement at Ireland Outreach is that we are, “demonstrating the love of GOD, while preaching the Word of GOD.”
We believe that in order to effectively reach the African people with the Gospel we must first earn their trust. We seek to do this by practically showing God’s love through ministries such as Haven of Hope (hospital, literacy school, horticultural/agricultural school, Bible College, water well drilling, and clean water distribution). Through these various practical demonstrations of GODS’s love to a dying and hurting people we earn the opportunity and an open door to share the Gospel.
We firmly believe that our mission in Africa should not only be one of evangelism but of making disciples. We seek to do this through ministries such as our Emmaus Bible Correspondence School, Hope Bible College, Hope Books, etc. In addition to these established ministries we organize and conduct leadership conferences, evangelism training seminars, and various other training seminars that are focused on equipping the African believer to live the Christian life and to serve the LORD among their own people and to build up the Church.
Every year March and April we organize a team of Christians to go to Nigeria to assist in the work of Emmaus Bible Centres Mission (Ireland Outreach’s sister mission in Africa). Each team member comes for a minimum of three weeks or more.
GOD CAN USE YOU!
Whether your skills are in medical care, engineering, construction, water well drilling, education, evangelism, Bible training, agriculture, or discipleship the LORD can use you in Nigeria!
We need people to come and help in the hospital treating and caring for sick and dying villagers, in the villages drilling water wells, at Haven of Hope overseeing and helping with various construction projects, in the Hope Academy School teaching and tutoring student and teachers, at various conferences teaching relevant seminars, and on the field sharing GOD’s love and forgiveness through JESUS Christ, to name a few.
WHAT DOES IT COST?
The cost of serving in Nigeria is high compared to most other West African countries. This is largely due to corruption, political instability, and civil unrest that drives the cost of food, fuel and ultimately everything up significantly. That is why Ireland Outreach subsidizes the cost of your service with us. We ask you to contribute (US) $80.00 per person per day. This covers your food, accommodations, and transportation within Nigeria. This does not cover the cost of your plane tickets, visas, vaccinations, etc. The actual cost of you time with us is approximately (US) $130.00 per day for you expenses while in Nigeria. Our hope is that by subsidizing the cost of serving in Nigeria we can encourage more Christians to come who otherwise may not because of finances.
To Assembly/Church Leaders
The Ireland Outreach BRING THE LIGHT OF THE GOSPEL TO NIGERIA 2016 offers a safe, supervised, and organized environment for young people, as well as, mature adults to come and serve the LORD. The 2016 Missions Exposure Team is a time of great challenge, equipping, and growth as team members experience serving the LORD on a foreign mission field. Please consider sending your young, middle aged, and mature people to the mission field for a time of discipleship and growth. This is a great opportunity for exposure to missions and the foreign mission field in a safe environment allowing many to seek God’s will in serving on the mission field.
If you are not able to personally come and assist us, please pray to the LORD of the harvest to send laborers, and that the Mission Exposure Team will be a profitable tie for all. Additionally, you can give a scholarship gift to enable others to come in your place.
