... Accountant/Bookkeeper

Mrs. Mabel Gillett has been one of our secretaries since she and her late husband, James L. Gillett, took early retirement and were commended to serve the Lord in 1977. After her husband died in 1986, she continued serving as our bookkeeper. Now in her 78th year, she has to have gallbladder surgery and is in failing health. Can you help us fill the role of general office administration, handle accounts and financial responsibilities as bookkeeper and/or accountant with accounts on the computer? This is URGENT!

... General Secretary

Mrs. Barbara McTavish, a retiree commended from Canada to serve the Lord with us, had to return to Canada at the end of 2000 due to poor health. Jean Gillett is unable to cope with all of the work load. Can you help us fill the role of: reception, telephone and mail, general secretarial responsibilities with computer skills in Microsoft Office, and administrative support of the director. This position requires a person who can work in a team environment and who has a cheerful disposition.

 

... House Parents / Housekeeper

We are praying for a couple to fill the role of "Dad & Mum" with the husband experienced in maintenance and/or gardening and the wife in cooking and hospitality. This would be for the "Charleville" Outreach Centre in Dublin where we have long term missionaries and short term workers accommodated. A single sister or widow could serve in the housekeeper responsibilities.

None of the above positions are salaried and Christians interested in serving in these roles would need to feel called to serve the Lord and be commended by their home assembly/church to serve on a missionary basis.
