BES to IDP Camps in Nigeria

Ireland Outreach (IO) has been blessed to be able to team up with BES (Bible Educational Services)  from Northern Ireland to provide Christian educational and training materials in the Republic of Nigeria. Sam Balmer of BES has donated literally tons of literature for Ireland Outreach to use to teach train and reach the people of Nigeria with the gospel of Jesus Christ. BES materials are basically Sunday school materials to be utilized with children. IO in conjunction with their ministry in Nigeria, Emmaus Bible Centres Missions Nigeria (EBCM-Nigeria), utilizing their coordinators and correctors, have been able to take materials into the Nigerian IDP camps. IDP stands for Internally Displaced Person camps in Nigeria are centers accommodating Nigerians who had been forced to flee their homes but remain within the country's borders. Displaced persons camps in Maiduguri accommodated from 120,000 to 130,000 people, while those in local government areas ranged above 400,000. These camps throughout Nigeria are where literally millions of Nigerians who have been displaced from their homes by being burnt out or runout by the Islamic terrorist group Boko Haram, are relocated. The government offers no support to these individuals. IO's mission in Nigeria, EBCM-Nigeria has been able to take Christian materials, food, and sanitation supplies to reach the persons who are now living in these IDP camps. The BES materials have been key in reaching many of the residents in these camps with the gospel of Jesus Christ. IO is grateful for their partnership with BES and their willingness to supply materials to reach many.

Please pray for the national workers in the Republic of Nigeria as they stand against the wiles of the Devil and take the Truth of the Gospel to the people of Nigeria. Pray for Sam Balmer and the BES ministry team.
